Executive Physicals
Executive Physicals are designed to cater to the busy executive by
providing a comprehensive physical exam at a convenient appointment.
They will have exclusive access to the physician for their exam and
review of findings which includes ample time for questions and answers.
Preferred method is done in two visits. On the first visit the
executive would arrive for an early morning appointment after having
fasted ( no food or beverage except water) for at least 6 hours. The
following test and or screening procedure would be done as a minimum:
- Vital signs to include BMI
- Complete urine analysis
- Titmus eye exam
- Acuity / near / far
- Color
- Depth
- Glaucoma Screening
- Screening blood profile (panel 56) to include:
- CBC
- Glucose
- Electrolytes
- Liver Function test ( ALT, AST )
- Renal Function ( BUN Creatine )
- Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL and trglycerides
- Thyroid
- Hgb A1C ( hx of diabetes)
- Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) for males after age 50 or earlier
as indicated by guidelines
- Rectal Exam is offered ( at patients discretion )
- Hemocult cards X3
- Chest X-ray (initially and once every 5 years or as medically
indicated )
- EKG
- Spirometry
- Audiogram
- Pelvic exam is offered (females) with PAP (at patient's
discretion)
- Immunizations (as indicated per American Cancel of Immunization) Note:
Other testing may be done based on medical and or work history.
- Optional Testing (not done at NowCare; however we can make appointments
for testing)
- Cardiac Stress Test
- Mammograms
Following the blood draw, the examinee will be offered a
continental breakfast of coffee and or juice, whole grain bagel with
cream cheese and or fruit. On the return appointment the executive
will visit with the physician. The physician will do a "hands
on" examination of the patient, review of patient's history and
Health Risk Assessment and discuss the findings from the screening
done on previous visit.
On a one visit physical, the executive would also arrive early
after fasting. All screening test procedures will be done at that
time, after which they will be offered a continental breakfast.
The executive will also see the physician for a "hands on
" exam and history review.
The executive would be called by the physician in approximately a
week to go over the screening findings.
